Logan is the home of the Columbus Washboard Company, the only remaining washboard manufacturing company in the U.S. It all began in rural America around mid-1800s, where music was a center piece of family entertainment, but money was scarce. So, the washboard, an empty jug, along with a stick and string attached to metal tub turned upside down, became the backwoods answer to Saturday Night at Carnegie Hall. Join us for our seasonal fall colors hike and take in the scenery along the Grandma Gatewood trail. We will be hiking roughly 6 miles on this trail from Old Mans Cave to Cedar Falls and back. This hike is rated difficult, please dress for the weather and terrain. 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
